American Constructors is proud to be selected as the general contractor for Elgin ISD’s sixth elementary school! As part of the district’s 2024 Bond, this $41.5 million campus will serve approximately 800 students in the Lund Farms community.
Elgin ISD is eager to transform voter-approved bond funding into modern learning environments that support students today while preparing for the future. This new elementary school will help address the district’s rapid enrollment growth, reflecting broader population increases across Central Texas. Since August 2025 alone, Elgin ISD has welcomed more than 400 additional students, underscoring their need for expanded educational facilities.
This state-of-the-art elementary school will include ground-up site development, utility connections, building construction and installation of advanced technology and security systems. Construction is slated to begin in spring 2027, and the campus is expected to open to students in fall 2028.
The American Constructors team looks forward to working with Elgin ISD for the first time and giving students, teachers and faculty another educational space that fosters the learning methods of today, collaboration and creativity.
