American Constructors is looking for an experienced professional to join our Marketing & BD team to lead the day-to-day development of RFQ/RFP responses across multiple market sectors and clients. This role requires a meticulous, collaborative, and flexible quick learner, who can multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should possess a broad set of skills, including strong technical writing and an excellent ability to understand client needs. It is essential that the individual selected for this position be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust and respect with internal staff. The individual must also have the ability to manage multiple projects and work under constant deadlines.



  • Coordinate all aspects of proposal development and production, including establishing priorities and target dates, gathering information/input from technical staff, strategic writing, editing, formatting, and delivering a final product on time
  • Research, write, and update project information, resumes, and boilerplate narratives
  • Update and maintain CRM database (Cosential), including pursuits/leads, project information, resumes, boilerplate narratives
  • Assist with market sector and other construction-related research
  • Perform additional assignments



  • Experience with RFQ and RFP preparation
  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or related discipline
  • Experience maintaining a CRM system (experience with Cosential preferred)
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign
  • Ability to quickly learn and organize complex technical information
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Team oriented and collaborative with a client-service focus
  • Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen
