American Constructors hosted its 11th Annual Charity Clay Shoot on October 13, 2023, successfully raising $100,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA). This marks one of the largest donations from the commercial construction company to date.

The event had over 200 participants across 40 teams who came together for philanthropy and fun on behalf of BGCAA’s mission. Hosted at Capital City Clays, the benefit included door prizes, lunch, gun raffles, a flurry shoot, dinner, and awards for the top teams.

Since the inaugural Clay Shoot in 2012, more than $600,000 has been raised for BGCAA with the help of generous donations from American Constructors employees, clients, partners, and friends. These funds enable young people across Central Texas to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, established 56 years ago, is a pillar for youth empowerment in Central Texas. The organization develops lasting skills in character, leadership, academic success, healthy lifestyles, and workforce readiness to bridge the gap between access and opportunity. With 27 locations across Bastrop and Travis counties, the organization offers high-quality and fun programming and resources for kids ages 6 to 18. BGCAA has over 3,000 registered members who call the Clubs home in addition to thousands of youth who engage with them annually.

Congratulations to this year’s top team Champion Site Prep, Inc., and our other winners Enviromatic Systems of Central Texas, Inc./Leander ISD and Jose I. Guerra, Inc. Thank you to everyone who came out to participate, and we can’t wait for another successful event next year!
