On September 24, Bastrop ISD celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the newest campus, Adelton Elementary. Built by American Constructors, the new school in the growing Adelton neighborhood opened for the start of the 2025 school year, serving 1,120 students in grades K-5.
The ribbon-cutting featured a student performance by the Armadillo Girls choir, followed by remarks from district and community leadership and student-led tours of the campus.
Designed by VLK Architects, the two-story Adelton Elementary spans 106,000 square feet and blends modern educational design with the surrounding natural environment. Featuring contemporary finishes, abundant natural light, and a dedicated outdoor learning courtyard, the building is thoughtfully designed to inspire and support future generations of learners for years to come.
We were proud to partner with Bastrop ISD on this project and look forward to continuing our collaboration on several other initiatives across the district!
