On August 6, American Constructors celebrated the grand opening of Valor Education’s newly expanded North Austin campus. The ceremony included speeches from Valor leadership and tours showcasing the new state-of-the-art facility.
With this impressive 51,407 square-foot, three-story campus addition, Valor North can now accommodate 1,200 students. The expansion will open to students and teachers in just a few days for the start of the 2024 school year. Marty Burger, CEO of American Constructors, said, “We’re thrilled to mark this milestone with Valor Education and proud to have played a role in bringing this project to life. We hope this new facility inspires Valor scholars for years to come as they learn, grow and achieve their goals.”
Designed by Haddon+Cowan Architects, the expansion includes numerous upgraded features: a modern indoor gymnasium, an open-air gym, a black box theater, a new library, and an expanded playground and courtyard for outdoor learning. Additionally, new science labs and extra classrooms will enhance the educational environment for students.
