Check out the videos below to learn more about Mitch’s journey at American Constructors, his favorite projects, and his advice for young professionals entering the construction industry.
Career Path
Mitch first discovered American Constructors in 2008 when he attended a college career fair and soon began an internship with the company. He continued to work his way up to a field engineer and superintendent before becoming a project manager.
“Growing up on a farm, I did a lot of hands-on work, so construction felt like the right fit when I went to school,” Mitch said. “It is very rewarding to build something and stand back and look at a tangible goal that you accomplished.”
Career Advice
With the challenges and rewards that come with construction, Mitch knows the importance of putting in the hard work and getting things right early on. For those interested in entering the construction industry, his advice is to manage your time wisely, build confidence and make note of everything you learn along the way.
Outside of Work
When Mitch isn’t working on a project, he values spending quality time with his wife and son. Whether it's enjoying outdoor activities, attending his son's baseball and football games, or exploring new places, Mitch cherishes these special family moments. He is also a huge Denver Broncos fan and enjoys watching games whenever he gets a chance.
We are honored to have Mitch on the American Constructors team. Thanks for all that you do, Mitch!
