American Constructors is proud to once again receive the STEP Diamond certification by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) – the highest level of achievement in ABC's Safety Training and Evaluation process. This marks the 5th year that American Constructors has earned the top distinction.
Founded more than three decades ago, the STEP program is a 20-point safety benchmarking and improvement tool designed to help companies evaluate current safety practices and identify opportunities for improvement. The diamond level indicates American Constructors' superior safety performance and company-wide commitment to safety culture, reflecting incident rates far below the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics construction industry average.
