We're proud to share that American Constructors has been named a finalist for the Bold Giver Award in the Austin Chamber of Commerce's 2026 Austin Gives Awards, celebrating the generosity and community impact of Central Texas businesses!
Giving back has been part of our culture since founder Bill Heine started the company nearly 45 years ago. That tradition lives on today through the American Constructors Foundation, established in 2019.
At the heart of our giving is our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA). Their mission to help Central Texas youth grow and thrive is one that resonates deeply with our team. Our signature Clay Shoot brings together over 200 employees, clients, and partners each year, raising more than $850,000 for BGCAA since 2012.
We also take part in Amplify Austin Day, Giving Tuesday, and our annual Give Joy campaign, extending our giving across the community to support family-focused organizations like BookSpring, Explore Austin, Foundation Communities, Open Door Preschools, The Settlement Home for Children and more.
Our employees receive up to 16 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off each year, empowering them to support the causes they care about most.
