This year American Constructors proudly raised $50,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA). The funds were primarily raised at our eighth annual charity clay shoot. This year’s event set a new fundraising record, bringing our total donation to BGCAA to over $350,000 since the inaugural clay shoot in 2012.
The check was presented at the BGCAA’s Club Classic golf tournament, a friendly competition at Topgolf featuring a silent auction and a raffle sponsored by American Constructors.
Additionally, CEO Marty Burger was invited to present the 2019 Partners in Philanthropy Legacy Award at the BGCAA Great Futures Gala on November 1. The award, which was awarded to William (Bill) and Yolanda Heine last year, went to Karen and George Cassey in honor of their longstanding commitment of time, talent, and treasure to support the mission and work of the BGCAA.
“The Boys and Girls Clubs hold a special place in our hearts. It has taught us that service to each other makes us a stronger community, setting the stage for the next generation of leaders,” said Burger during his speech.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2019 clay shoot, and thank you to BGCAA for hosting us at the Club Classic! Learn more about our involvement with BGCAA by watching the video below.
