American Constructors is proud to receive the STEP Diamond certification by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) – the highest level of achievement in ABC’s Safety Training and Evaluation Process.
Founded more than three decades ago, the STEP program is a 20-point safety benchmarking and improvement tool designed to help companies evaluate current safety practices and identify opportunities for improvement. The diamond level indicates American Constructors' superior safety performance and company-wide commitment to safety culture, indicating incident rates nearly six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics construction industry average.
