Del Valle ISD recently selected American Constructors as the construction manager for a new Maintenance and Operations Warehouse as well as updates to the district’s Central Administration facility.
The 45,000 square foot maintenance and operations project is slated to start in Fall of 2022 and conclude in Spring 2023.
The central administration project includes 5,500 square feet of additions and renovations. Construction is slated to begin in Fall of 2022 and conclude in Summer of 2023.
These projects are the latest in Del Valle ISD‘s ongoing plans for expansions and improvements to accommodate rapid growth expected in the area over the next several years.
A Decade Long Partnership
Over the last decade, Del Valle ISD and American Constructors have partnered on more than 20 projects. Our team led 11 projects for the district’s 2015 Bond Program, which included the district’s state-of-the-art, award-winning athletics facility and career and technical education innovation space.
Currently, our team is building the new Hornsby-Dunlap and Smith Elementary Schools as a part of the district’s 2019 Bond Program. Both campuses were designed in partnership with Pfluger Architects, the district, and local stakeholders to reflect the surrounding community, while bringing both schools to equitable education standards that support future-ready learning. And in November 2021, the district selected American Constructors to lead two child development center projects.
