Last month, American Constructors joined Del Valle ISD to celebrate the grand openings of two new facilities built as part of the district’s 2019 Bond program.
On September 19, Del Valle ISD hosted the grand opening of its newly expanded Administration Office. The ceremony took place before the first Board of Trustees meeting of the 2023-24 school year. Staff and community members joined Superintendent Dr. Annette Tielle and the trustees to officially cut the ribbon.
American Constructors partnered with designer Fuse Architects on the new board room, conference room, and administrative offices to accommodate DVISD’s growing needs.
On September 27, the district opened its new Operations and Support Services building with a ribbon cutting, luncheon, and formal remarks from Dr. Tielle and Assistant Superintendent of Operations Steven Alves.
In collaboration with Stantec Architects, American Constructors built a centralized space, conveniently located behind Del Valle High School, where district departments can better collaborate and support students and faculty.
The new facility houses the technology, maintenance and operations, construction and planning, and child nutrition departments. It also includes two meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 60 people and training spaces for events like Del Valle University and new teacher orientations.
