We were proud to be there on August 19, when Pflugerville ISD broke ground on their new high school.
This new 388,934-square-foot school will be located on a 150-acre tract near Lake Pflugerville. More than 100 people attended the groundbreaking ceremony, including state Rep. Celia Israel, Pflugerville Mayor Pro Tem Wayne Cooper, Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce President Patricia Gervan-Brown, U.S. veterans who reside in Pflugerville, district board members, and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Alex Torrez.

The school is expected to open in time for the 2017-2018 school year, and will feature:
- 55 classrooms
- 20 science labs
- Fine arts area with 700-seat auditorium
- Career/technology education pod
- Computer science labs
- Engineering classrooms
- Horticulture rooms
- Athletic facilities
