American Constructors celebrated the grand opening of Valor Education's new, modern Kyle campus in November.
In July, American Constructors completed construction of the K-12 tuition-free charter school. In August, the campus opened for the 2022 school year. The November ceremony officially celebrated the grand opening of Valor’s third campus serving the greater Austin area. Festivities included remarks from Valor leadership, presentations from scholars, and tours of the building.
“We are deeply grateful for the many partners—philanthropists, community leaders, our construction and design teams—who came together today in support of Valor Kyle,” said Jesse Bates, Chief Operating Officer of Valor Education. “This beautiful school campus would not have been possible without the collaboration and goodwill of all who contributed. Families in Hays county are eager for Valor’s K-12 tuition-free classical education, and we are excited about the positive impact Valor Kyle will have for years to come.”
About the Project
Built by American Constructors and designed by Haddon + Cowan Architects, the 60,440 square foot, two-story campus features:
- 33 classrooms
- nine small groups spaces
- a multi-purpose cafeteria and gym
- a library
- an outdoor basketball court and soccer field
- a 90-vehicle parking lot. Phase I of the campus accommodates 800 students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

In order to serve a growing student population, Valor Education also plans to build a 51,407 square foot, three-story addition to their North Austin campus. In addition to state-of-the-art classroom space, this addition includes a landscaped courtyard for outdoor learning. American Constructors is proud to also serve as the general contractor for this project, which breaks ground in December 2022 and is expected to open in early 2024.
