In celebration of our 35th anniversary, we gathered the American Constructors crew for a company-wide party at Archer Hotel on Thursday, October 26.

We enjoyed each other’s company along with drinks and delicious food, and our founder Bill Heine and CEO Marty Burger spoke about how the company has grown over the years.

The most special moment of the night came when Bill and Marty were able to present a donation of $35,000 to Helen Jobes of the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides support and assistance to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA).

American Constructors has supported BGCAA through direct donations, event sponsorships, and by hosting annual fundraisers since 1999, when the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation was established by Bill Heine, Bob Ehrlich, Robert Davis, and Dan Nelson. The donation was made as a result of American Constructors’ annual charity clay shoot held earlier this year.

For 35 years, American Constructors has been committed to serving our community, and we’re proud to provide what we can to support BGCAA, a vital resource here in Central Texas.

Now in its 50th year, BGCAA operates 28 Clubs and four outreach programs across Travis and Bastrop Counties, working with more than 2,000 children each day to help them reach their goals. To learn more and make your own financial contribution, please visit www.bgcaustin.org/50Reasons.
