American Constructors is proud to have received two awards at the 2025 Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Central Texas Excellence in Construction Awards – the Eagle award for Dripping Springs ISD’s Wildwood Springs Elementary and the Merit award for Temple ISD’s High School Athletic Performance Complex.

This annual event celebrates Central Texas projects completed throughout the year that demonstrate exceptional quality as well as a strong commitment to safety.

Dripping Springs ISD’s Wildwood Springs Elementary School, completed in July 2025, is a 117,835-square-foot campus designed to alleviate crowding for the district and serve up to 850 students. Throughout the construction process, our team faced challenges related to steep terrain and tricky underground utility coordination. Thanks to early planning, the project team found creative grading and utility solutions to open the school on time and on budget for students and teachers to enjoy.

The Temple ISD Athletic Performance Complex is a two-story sports facility that was completed in March 2025. The 40,350-square-foot complex supports a variety of Temple High School’s sports programs featuring modern locker rooms, a state-of-the-art weight training area, classrooms, coaches’ offices and spaces for sports recovery. Despite working around a tight operating environment and surprise utility complications, American Constructors delivered the project in 18 months, with students moving in by March 2025.

American Constructors is grateful to ABC Central Texas for recognizing our work on these projects. Congratulations to all the other award recipients!
