American Constructors has been proudly selected as the general contractor to build Jarrell ISD’s fifth elementary school, Atlas Ranch Elementary. Funded through the district’s 2023 Bond, this 120,000 square-foot facility will help the district plan for continued growth in the upcoming Atlas Ranch community, which will serve about 900 students and 4,000 new homes. The Atlas Ranch developers donated the land through a partnership agreement, saving the district nearly $3 million, according to KXAN.
Beginning in 2026, the design phase will define the project’s layout and amenities to best meet community needs. Construction on the 13-acre site is set to begin in spring 2027 and slated to complete and be open to students for the 2028-29 school year.
This is our fourth project with Jarrell ISD, following our current work on the district’s High School Phase II project as well as the recent completion of the district’s Operations Center, which opened in fall 2025.
