William (Bill) and Yolanda Heine have been presented with the inaugural Partners in Philanthropy Legacy Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA). The award was announced at the Art of Giving Gala on November 2 in honor of the couple's longstanding commitment of time, talent, and treasure to support the mission and work of Boys & Girls Clubs locally.
When Bill Heine founded American Constructors more than 35 years ago, he made giving back to the community and supporting the work of the BGCAA a key focus. Bill established the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation and has served on the board of directors since 1999, dedicating his time to improving the lives of Austin's youth and families.
As an organization, American Constructors has held an annual charity event benefiting the BGCAA for the past 15 years. To date, we have proudly raised more than $300,000 with the help of our friends, colleagues, and employees.
